Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 August 2026

Draft pending legal review. This policy is written against the Swiss revised Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, where Blacalp processes data of individuals in the EU/EEA, the GDPR. It should be reviewed by qualified counsel before being relied upon.

Blacalp ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through blacalp.com, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

1. Who is responsible

The controller responsible for processing your personal data is:

2. What we collect

Information you give us

We collect personal data when you choose to provide it, specifically when you:

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard server logs, which may include IP address, browser type, referring page and time of request. These are used for security and to keep the site running.

We store a small record in your browser's local storage so that, once you have identified yourself, you are not asked again on other pages. This is not used for advertising and is not shared.

3. Why we use it, and on what basis

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal effects.

4. Who else sees it

We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf:

Some of these providers may process data outside Switzerland and the EU/EEA, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, including standard contractual clauses.

[REVIEW] Confirm this list is complete before publishing, and add any analytics, advertising, CRM or scheduling tool (for example Calendly) once it is in use.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and diagnostic data for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our business relationship, and thereafter only as long as required by applicable law. Where we have no ongoing relationship and no legal obligation to retain it, we delete it.

[REVIEW] Set a concrete retention period — for example "24 months after last contact" — and apply it consistently.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may:

To exercise any of these, write to info@blacalp.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

If you are in Switzerland you may lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). If you are in the EU/EEA you may complain to your local supervisory authority.

7. Cookies

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The site stores one item in your browser's local storage to remember that you have already provided your details, so you are not asked repeatedly. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

[REVIEW] If analytics or any embedded scheduling or video tool is added later, this section must be updated and a cookie banner will likely be required for EU visitors.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be made evident on this page.

10. Contact
