Rani is the founder and managing director of Blacalp. He is specialised in cross-cultural communication and client relationship management. Throughout his professional activities dealing with stakeholders in Switzerland, Germany, France and the Middle East, he has developed an explicit know-how of the particularities in different markets as well as the impact of culture in the customer approach and business success. His expertise lies in business development and sales covering different areas and industries.
With blacalp his aim is to support companies in their journey to business growth. Starting with the analytical examination of the companies’ potential/opportunities, followed by the development and evaluation of the suitable growth strategy, over to the supervision and implementation, he consults along the entire process.
Rani commands the relevant cross functional and strategical abilities required in business development from inception to execution. Furthermore, he is an expert in managing entire sales cycles from the initial contact to the closing. His strength lies in bringing the right people together, lead negotiations as well as managing the operational implementation.
Throughout his 15 years of broad international experience in sales, business development and consulting in the field of architecture, building material, real estate and technologies, Rani has established a considerable network in diverse industries and markets. Along with his conceptual thinking, refined interpersonal skills, trustworthiness and persistence, his lateral thinking and bird eye perspective allow him to overcome challenges and bring successful solutions.
Rani holds a master’s degree in Architecture and an MBA in International Management from Geneva. Further education in Business Strategy, Growth, Internationalization and Export at IMD and HSLU complete his profile.
He is a Swiss and Lebanese Citizen living in Zürich. He speaks English, French, Arabic and German.
